You\u2019ll want to:<\/p>\n<p>Cut a 4\u201d x 4\u201d base of paper (used in step 2)<\/p>\n<p>Glue the exterior paper on to the toilet paper tube<\/p>\n<p>You can use staples or anything you wish to adhere the paper to the tube. This is the outside \u201cdecoration\u201d of your pencil holder.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 2<\/h3>\n<p>Using your glue or glue gun, attach the base cut in step 1 to the bottom of your tube. The goal is to use the base to keep the pencils inside of the holder.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 3<\/h3>\n<p>The final step is to decorate the outside of the pencil holder. Some people choose to glue buttons on the outside, while others will draw or color the outside as they wish. The choice is yours when it comes to decorating the outside of your pencil holder.<\/p>\n<p>Many people have issues with step two because the base paper may not be thick enough to counter the weight of the pencils. If this is the case, feel free to use a cardboard base, which is more durable and a little heavier.
